The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou will be held from 23 September to 8 October, 2023
It has been decided that the 19th Asian Games (which is postponed from 2022) will be held in Hangzhou from 23 September to 8 October, 2023.
The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 postponed
The Executive Board of Olympic Council of Asia(OCA)announced on 6 May, 2022 that it has decided to postpone the 19th Asian Games (the Games), which was scheduled to be held in Hangzhou, China from 10 to 25 September 2022 (Soft Tennis event was scheduled to be held from 11 to 15 September 2022). The name and emblem of the Games will remain unchanged and the new date for the Games will be announced after further discussions between OCA, Chinese Olympic Committee (COC) and Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC),

We, Asian Soft Tennis Federation, regret to inform everybody in our deep sadness that Mr. Toshiki Kaifu, President of Asian Soft Tennis Federation and former Prime Minister of Japan, passed away on 9th of January, 2022.
Postponement of the 2021 Hualien Cittaslow Fonglin Soft Tennis Championship
The 2021 Hualien Cittaslow Fonglin Soft Tennis Championship which was planned to be held in December, 2021 in Chinese Taipei will be postponed to 2022 because of the pandemic of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Another postponement of the 9th Asian Soft Tennis Championships to the next year onward
Asian Soft Tennis Federation (ASTF) decided to make another postponement of the 9th Asian Soft Tennis Championships to the next year onward because the pandemic of COVID-19 has not been settled down yet in Asian countries and in the world.
As for plans for ASTF events etc. from now on, ASTF will judge them taking the situation of COVID-19 into account.
WORLD MASTERS GAMES will be held in Japan in May, 2022
WORLD MASTERS GAMES 2021 KANSAI (which was planned to be held in 2021 but is postponed due to the pandemic of COVID-19) will be held in Japan in May, 2022.
Soft Tennis is also included in the events.

Postponement of the 9th Asian Soft Tennis Championships to November 2021
The world is now facing the very critical situation of Coronavirus.
Although we, Asian Soft Tennis Federation (ASTF), do hope that it would be settled down as soon as possible, it is very regret that we do not know how long it would take for the pandemic of coronavirus to be stamped out in the world.
In this respect, it is very unfortunate that we, ASTF, decided to postpone the 9th Asian
Soft Tennis Championships (planned to be held in November, 2020) to November 2021. The venue (Chiang Mai, Thailand) will not be changed.
We will inform you again of the exact schedule of the 9th Asian Soft Tennis Championships to be held in November, 2021as soon as it is fixed.

The 9th Asian Soft Tennis Championships will be held from November 13 to November 19, 2020 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

This meeting is for The 8th Asian Soft Tennis Championship will be held for 16th to 20th November. ASTF member countries and regions conference first round was held in Nagoya in 1988. Then Indonesia (1992), Thailand (1996), Japan (2000), Thailand (2004), South Korea (2008), Taiwan (2012), was held in Japan (2016).
